Down by the pond
The pond where we met
Where the water lilies grow

We pledged our love
Eternal bonds were forged
Eternal Love coming true

How many times have we searched
So many lives have come and gone
Searching the worlds between

Once again we meet
Love starts anew
The beginning of a new world

You dreamed of us as a child
You looked for me as you grew
I look different now but somehow you knew

Only recently
Have I remembered
That which you already new

That of a love
One that has traveled eternity
To be proven still true

So here we go again
Down the road of our love
Growing ever closer to one another

So here we meet again
Down by the pond
The pond where the water lilies grow

Beautifully written.
This is subtle, yet casual, and is surrounded by an aura of emotion which you have expressed very well.
